London fashion week fall 2017 kicked off on 17 February, and now it's day three of the most happening event currently at London. The trend that we sought is clearly more street style inspired designs. The styles are minimal, and effects of climate changes are evident as we witnessed designers are already ready to welcome the spring summer
Prints are the reminiscence of the previous season; many designers like Ashley Williams, House of Holland played safe allowing to only work with geometric lines or floral pattern. Some even loved to just concentrate over silhouettes and fabric detailing.
As we have predicted in our color trend forecast for 2017 how bright red, yellow, and orange emerge adamant, without the doubt, their were many styles where models walked into shades of red and orange.
Returning to the London schedule after 16 years of showing in Paris, Hussein Chalayan said he wanted to convey a sense of “protest and celebration” following his Saturday morning show at Sadler’s Wells Theater.

Orla Kiely, Ashley Williams and House of Holand played with checks, geometric lines, and vertical stripes. Ashley overplayed the geometric prints for the Skirt, dresses and casual trousers.
Orla brings it for her winter coat and House of Holland used micro and mini geometric shapes of circle, stars and squared for their dresses, mohair sweater and skirts.
Teatum Jones rejected soft curves and gravitated towards the imperfect square in their London fashion week show.
The most prominent color trend we spotted is lovely bright shades of yellow, red and orange. We have been keeping our eyes on this evolving trend from street to runway, and we are happy to announce this is one of the current biggest trends to work on for the retail level of positioning.

JW. Anderson’s materials may have been softer and sexier chunky knits, and cocooning shapes to a women’s lineup of light and fluttery silhouettes tucked here and slashed there. The dress silhouettes have taken inspiration from the balloon skirt with the different style for the top. The lower part of the dress detailing has pleats shaping down to balloon style.

Floral trends are here to stay, and they will be as spotted during London fashion week fall 2017. It was in full bloom as designers from Christopher Kane to Alice Temperley of Temperley London embraced the floral trend in an array of silhouettes from puffer jackets to delicate tulle dresses. Florals emerges in black and white also the floral broaches and patch work for all the clothing category.
